Let’s do some driving!
While each student is different and so lessons are often modified to cater to individual needs, still there is a general framework to my lesson structure.
Lesson 1: A quick chat and some driving on quiet streets to determine where we’re at. Then we’ll move on to a list of tutorials which we’ll go over and practice.
Lesson 2: An introduction to parallel and 90 degree parking. Usually in lesson two we’ll work on higher speed roads. If you’re ready, we might even get onto a freeway - I know of some stretches that are not so intimidating as others, and we’ll practice riding along the “gentle river of cars” as I like to say. It’s actually quite relaxing. We’ll also cover uphill and downhill parking as well as other more random aspects of driving.
Lesson 3: Once more, we’ll practice the different types of parking. Also we’ll brush up on some specifics relating to the road test. And for the grand finale (if you’re ready)…we’ll take a more difficult freeway ride to some one-way streets. For sure you’ll be ready, and for sure I’ll be there to make sure you’re safe and at ease.
